Isle of Summer Weekend 2026
Isle of Summer Weekend is back for 2026!
It’s been a whole year since we were in Jersey for the inaugural Isle of Summer Weekend, but you loved it so much that we’re back for another instalment! This year, it’s something a bit different as we head to Scotland. And not just anywhere in Scotland – we’re off to the adventurous Isle of Arran.
Situated on the west coast of Scotland, this beautiful island offers the best of Scotland in miniature. From castles and coastlines, to communities, conservation, and lots more. Sounds good, right? Well, get ready as we bring you two days live from Arran on the 11th and 12th July.
Day One – Saturday 11th July
We kick off Isle of Summer Weekend with a day that’s all about the music. The songs of the summer and some great shows to go with them.
And it’s good news if you’re a fan of the Weekend Breakfast Show, because it takes on a new life in Arran, as The Isle of Summer Breakfast Show. Nimmy will kick off the day at 8am GMT, to get your Isle of Summer Weekend underway.
Later in the day, we’re introducing an all-new show – the Isle of Summer Weekender. CG brings together your favourite current and recent chart hits in the mix for two hours from 4pm GMT. If anyone knows how to get the weekend started, it’s CG.
Then, back by popular demand, the Isle of Summer Mixtapes return at 10pm as we bring you non-stop retro summer classics. It’s the perfect way to wind down after a busy Saturday exploring Arran.
Day Two – Sunday 12th July
Sunday is the main event
Nimmy’s up early from 8am with a second instalment of the Isle of Summer Breakfast Show from 8am-10am. Following a full day on the island, he’s sure to have something to say about the experience. Don’t miss breakfast to hear all about it.
In the afternoon, make a date with us for Arran Adventures. We’ve been exploring the island, sending Leo Andrews here, there and truly everywhere. Nimmy will be joined by Leo for a snapshot of all things Arran. With plenty of stops on the itinerary, there will be lots to discover. Plus we’ve got a special treat for you. Arran Adventures is live from 4pm GMT.
No Sunday is complete without the Hit 30 Countdown, and it’s no rest for our team on the ground in Arran – Leo’s here from 6pm GMT with the thirty biggest hits of the week, direct from the island.
Isle of Summer Weekend, live from Arran, is not to be missed!
