About Big Summer Weekend 2018

Big Summer Weekend is Channel 27's summer event for 2018! We're heading to Gibraltar for a weekend of shows to celebrate ten years of the Hit 30 Countdown. Situated at the tip of Spain, Gibraltar is a unique gateway between Africa and Europe, and although bordering with Spain, it's actually British. So much so, that locals call it 'Britain in the Sun'!

Our weekend is packed full of big shows. In the morning, Nimmy and LK keep you company with the Big Summer Breakfast Show, starting at 8am and there's all-new episodes of the Top 10 at Ten - back by popular demand. In the afternoons, it's over to Leo Andrews and Kevin Jon who are live from the rock from 4pm GMT with our daily magazine show, Four O'Clock From The Rock. On the Sunday, it's the main event as we celebrate ten years of the Hit 30 Countdown as Leo counts down a special programme alongside Kevin Jon.

Elsewhere, join us for a look behind the scenes of the Hit 30 on Saturday evening, followed by CG and the Big Summer Party. Plus there's a chance to relive the first ever Hit 30 Countdown late on Sunday night and Pat Sharp is with us on Sunday afternoon.
